Import the app with "Import data?" set to Yes.

Go to View Data - Organization Structure. Add a new record for your user profile (click on Launch button): Set First name, Last name, select a manager. Then fill in Employee LDAP Name. LDAP name for Volt Sandbox environment has the following format: "CN=John Smith/OU=EXT/O=HCL-PNP-SBOX".
